An official French diploma recognized worldwide

The DELF (Diplôme d’Études en Langue Française) is an official French-language diploma awarded by the French Ministry of Education.Recognized internationally and valid for life, the DELF certifies a student’s level of French and allows children and teenagers to progress through internationally recognized levels throughout their education.At APEM, we are proud to prepare our students for the DELF Prim and DELF Junior examinations.

DELF Prim

For children ages 7–11DELF Prim is designed specifically for elementary-school-aged children learning French.The exam uses familiar, age-appropriate topics such as family, school, hobbies and everyday life, allowing children to demonstrate their French skills in a positive and encouraging environment.Three levels are available:A1.1 · A1 · A2

DELF Junior

For students ages 12 and upDELF Junior is designed for middle and high school students.Students can progress through:A1 · A2 · B1 · B2The subjects and situations used during the examination are adapted to teenagers and their everyday lives.

What does the exam include?

Students are evaluated in the four essential language skills:Listening · Reading · Writing · SpeakingAPEM teachers help determine the most appropriate level for each student and prepare them throughout the year so they can approach the examination with confidence.Our goal is not simply to pass an exam, but to help every student recognize their progress and feel proud of their French.

DELF at APEM

APEM organizes a dedicated DELF Prim & Junior session for our students once a year, generally in the spring.Preparation is integrated into our French-language program, and our teaching team accompanies participating students throughout the process.
